Intro

Santa Monica Seafood created a new grass-fed beef program to integrate into their growing foodservice seafood wing. Salespeople needed a resource to learn about all of the different products and marketing materials to share with their customers.

Challenges

The Santa Monica Seafood salespeople know how to sell seafood, grass-fed beef is a completely new terrain for them. My team and I needed to figure out the most user-friendly way for them to receive and absorb all information to comfortably sell these products.

Email List Analytics

 

I started marketing towards the Santa Monica Seafood salespeople by first targeting the audience that would best utilize our tool to help them sell grass-fed beef.

 

The email list started from scratch and quickly became used by over three-quarters of the sales staff due to the content and relevance of our materials. As you can see in the analytics below, these newsletters were being opened at an average 57.6% rate and 10.4% click-through rate.

Successful Email Campaign

 

 

This email campaign was to introduce new grass-fed beef products now stocked to the salespeople and grow sales of these products. This newsletter was opened at a 71.7% rate and 23.9% click-through rate. The total amount of opens shows that these salespeople were liking the content being produced and going back to read and share that information over and over again. This also led to an increase in the amount of grass-fed beef sold at Santa Monica Seafood that month by over 10%.
